Richard and Ann Giumelli are the dynamic duo behind Needleworx Mackay.  After leaving the area for many years they have come back to their roots.  Having worked and travelled throughout Central & South West Queensland, their focus now is to create a friendly community of like minded people.

Not only does Needleworx specialise in all your sewing, patchwork and craft needs we service & sell Sewing Machines & Overlockers, offer a Long-arm Quilting service, host sewing classes, workshops & social groups.

Richard developed a fascination with Long-arm Quilting over the past 4+ years and has honed his skills to provide a quality quilting service – Eagle Quilting Service.  Richard is also our machine servicing technician.  

Ann has always dabbled in sewing and crafts, her earlier years she sewed clothes and was interested in crochet & knitting.  For the last 30 years or so, Patchwork and Quilting have been her passions. 

Together, Richard and Ann have a vision to maintain Needleworx as the one-stop-shop for all things sewing and craft while maintaining a close community connection.
